We are wondering if we should produce the video in a 4 disc set, any body want it out there?

Posted by MMC Daley Bread Mon, July 23, 2012 13:03:58

We recently had a team meeting of all the core guys who came together to put the conference on. We had all been praying and asking the Lord as to what to do next. It was amazing to again see the unity that the Lord was telling us, yes we will put another one on but we do not know when. He has not told any of us when yet so we are walking by faith and not by sight. Will let you know when we know........

S c eptic - can you please tell us what you feel is God's wish?

Posted by S.c eptic Wed, July 04, 2012 08:44:21

Divisive and without substance. What is the message here doesn't sound like gods wish in my view, and that's all that's important. Outdated and oppressive.

Posted by MMC Daleybread Mon, July 02, 2012 18:06:49

Jase, email for Angus is shalom@umvoti.co.za. Where are you in the country and can we get any of the guys to get in touch with you? Come and see you and help in anyway we can? Do not despair, have you listened back to the messages from the website? Do not give up on God, He will never leave you nor foresake you. Please let us know, email info@daleybread.org Loads of love the MMC Team

Steve, many thanks for sharing this, awesome. We are collecting all of these thoughts together and sharing them with Angus and the team. It is so inspiring to see the impact in so many people's lives from the conference. We are praying for direction from the Lord as to what happens next as it all has to be in His plan and not only ours.

Posted by Steve Foley Mon, June 11, 2012 13:40:36

May The Lord bless all who took a step of faith in making this event happen. I know many, mostly women, have been faithfully praying for a revival in men and are excited by so many men accepting their Godly ordained role and I pray that we stay strong and encouraging to each other. For me, I found myself praising God even before we arrived whilst still busy making arrangements. I was emotional before Any worship began and it is a testimony to Angus that my lasting impression is of the presence of God and his overwhelming love for each and every one of us. Angus despite your Godly authority your humility and compassion shone through as it can only if Christ is in you and you in Him. Your faith is such an inspiration and I thank and praise God for you and ask Him to bless you and your family for you obedience and selflessness.

Perhaps because of my 'religious' upbringing, I struggled to feel loved and accepted by God and therefore to truly love Him. The Lord answered my need at 4 am on Sunday morning. I woke and was so aware of God's presence. I got up and our tent and it was a beautiful still morning and I felt I had to literally lift my hands and praise the Lord. As I went to the toilet and back I felt he had filled the valley with his love for me, it was overwhelming and I had tears running down my face, and was glad no one was about it just felt so personal.( when I told my wife she said this from a man who couldn't cry at his own mothers funeral. What a wonderful God we have.) When I got back in my sleeping bag God spoke to me in such a clear loving but authoritive way, which has never happened before, and gave me a message for me and our Church which I gave the following Sunday.

He said 'show My love to My people, look to Me I will lead'.

I was then praying, praising and thinking about it all and how we could take this back with us.

God said 'Only with changed hearts- but I need you to be my spotless bride'.

More prayer and meditating then

'Do not squabble - be united in Me or I have no use for you, but I will always love you'.

'I love to dwell in humble hearts - Trust in me I will never let you down. '

'I cannot use you without a humble heart'

There was more afterwards that I shared with our Church but that was the main message. 2 Chron 7 v14 seems to a word in season but it starts IF! Need to step up.

I know many of our group of 18 were really moved and have a new resolve to align ourselves to God's will, starting in the home. We have started a mens group who will meet once a month to start with and are praying for a real revival in our land.

It was great to meet some great guys and experience such a willingness to help and what a blessing for Piper James to travel so far to be with us.Amazing grace drifting through the valley was a heavenly sound.

I pray the testimonies will come pouring in from anyone who has been touched by the healing hand of Jesus because of this MMC.

Bless you all.

hey, just wanted to add my bit.i was with spearhead that week setting up the tents. i was sent to serve you guys, to serve God. my church on the other hand believed i was going to recieve what God had for me. it was a massive honour to serve and be a part of what God was doing. i never heard of angus and the might men movement and im a bit funny about the big names in the faith as many fall dramatically. but to be involved, to hear that sound of thousands of guys worshipping God was absolutly amazing. God has sent a jolt through my spirit shooting me into his path for my life.my wife has a husband who doesnt treat her like a slave, my daughters got a daddy whois seeing her more like God does. my church is convinced ive changed and well the guys in my church soon will.

God has given me soo much that week that every day ive tried to reach the end of what has happened and two weeks later still cant.i loved the brotherly love which came so naturally between all the guys setting up. and i and many other guys down her look forward to next year :)God bless ya guys

I personally have been extremely blessed since this conference.

My wife and I have always prayed together on a daily basis. And for years my wife has told me how much she appreciates me as a godly husband who loves her and appreciates her. But after attending the MMC she states that I am even more loving and caring in ways that she couldn't even imagine.

Angus also encouraged me to spend more time with God, and now I am waking up at 4:00 or 4:30am to spend time an hour or more in the Word of God before going to work, thus giving the Lord my "first fruits" in the morning.

I love you Angus! And I am so grateful for the Lord sending you our way!!

Please keep sharing your testimonies from the weekend as we are putting them together for Angus and the team and sharing them around. It is so encouraging to see what the Lord is doing in people's lives

How blessed we are to have had this conference in Pateley Bridge!

I have been inspired by each session and they have made me look at what I am doing currently, what I need to do, and my role both within and outside the family.

We have as a family changed a number of things. Some of these I thought would be difficult but I am blessed to have th support of the whole family.

We are now praying together and we now see family roles much clearer.

There are many other points that Angus brought up that I need to consider and and act on and I am delighted to see that all session recordings are now available which will help with this.

I know that many other men have been inspired in the same way. I live near Pateley and is was wonderful to have my wife and daughter at the family session and to be able to share with them some of the weekend.

Thanks and Blessings to Angus, Ian, and the rest of the team.

Hi,

We are so grateful to the Lord for what he has done. He put together a team of men who were led by Him to deliver the vision He gave us. So many lives have been saved and touched by Him through this event. The stories are flooding in. The band was put together by Andy Mitchell of MCC church Harrogate.

We are trying to get the recordings on the website as soon as we can. We are also looking as to what to do with the video recording. Please bear with us as Steve who looks after this all is on holiday in Greece and trying to do it remotely!

A big THANK YOU to JESUS, and to ALL the guys who worked so hard this weekend (and before). You've all been used by GOD to bring a huge blessing to those of us who attended :) I have no doubt at all, that across the nation there will be much fruit bourn as a result of your labour. I pray that you all recieve at least as much of a blessing as we recieved! Hope we can do it again next year. Please note though, as much as I love the Bagpipes and the Piper Dude, I will be praying that the he gets mysteriously laid out in the SPIRIT at 5:30am every day for at least 2 hours ;-) Blessings

I have a testimony I would love to share - relating to what made it possible for me to attend MMC in UK this year. I live in South Africa - and have attended 3x MMC here. I remember the occasion when the 1st UK MMC was announced a couple of years ago - I thought how great it would be to attend it.

I have just started a new job on 1st May with an Irish based company. It requires me to be in Dublin for 3 weeks training from 14-31 May. Last week I was reading through the Shalom newsletter & saw reference to the UK MMC taking place 25-27 May - and couldn't believe that it would be the same time that I was in Dublin. But I thought that it would probably be too expensive to get there / not realistic. However - I found out that Ryanair fly from Dublin directly to Leeds/Bradford airport, 20 miles from the event - and with cheap tickets available. I booked my ticket that same day. My brother in law is driving up from London - and we will be camping there. I am really excited & looking forwards to being there, being in His presence, and spending time with brothers from UK. See you there!!

Great time today with the team getting together for the final breakfast meeting before the Mighty Mens Conference in under three weeks time. So great to be a part of delivering the Lord's Vision and not mans. The Lord has assembled a fabulous team and is the only lead we need and want. We have all been on an major spiritual journey of faith and humility and we are only approaching the starting line.

SA Mighty Men events still tops with globe-trotting Buchan

As busy as Angus Buchan has become travelling to conferences all over the world, his heart is still lifted by attending local Mighty Men Conferences.

Buchan has just returned from the Bushveld Mighty Men Conference in Polokwane, Limpopo and he can’t wait to attend the Karoo Mighty Men Conference (Karoo MMC), which is set to take place from April 27 to 29 on the outskirts of Middelburg.

“The Mighty Men Conferences are the fulfilment of the commission that the Lord gave to me in 2003, so every time I attend one of these events I am filled with gratitude to the Lord.

“To be among the boys again is wonderful. Mighty Men crowds are my favourite even though I have the privilege of speaking to many and diverse audiences.”

During this year alone Angus will be speaking at conferences in Israel, England, the US, and Canada.

He says last year’s Karoo MMC was “amazing; the peace, love and hospitality was exceptional”.

“The Karoo boys are very special to me.”

Angus still has difficulty coming to terms with the growth of the Mighty Men phenomenon.

“In 2003 the Lord said to me, ‘I want you to be a spiritual father and mentor men in your nation’. I thought it would entail about five or 10 men, I had no concept of what was forthcoming; someone has just phoned me from California and enquired about holding a Mighty Men Conference there.

“It is like living on a roller coaster, doors are opening everywhere. For example, Pat Robertson has invited me to appear on his TV programme, The 700 Club, which is a Christian TV programme airing on channels throughout the United States and on Christian Broadcasting Network affiliates worldwide, when I travel to the US.

“Locally we are on national television six times a week and are being put onto 45 radio stations throughout Africa.”

Angus recently attended the premieres of the film ‘Ordinary People’, which is based on true events that have taken place at Mighty Men conferences, and in three days between the Thursday evening and Sunday morning 60 000 people had attended showings.

“However, it is all God’s work, I am just an ‘ordinary person’, a semi-literate farmer. It is the hand of God at work, he uses nobodies, people like you and me, but He requires faith.”

Buchan says the essence of Mighty Men Conferences is to encourage men to take up their rightful role as prophet, priest and king in their home, in their workplace and in the nation, because we are faced with a fatherless generation.

“Young men will follow somebody and if the right people are not there as role models, they will follow the wrong people.

“The essence of Mighty Men is to raise up men to be responsible citizens, responsible fathers, responsible husbands and responsible leaders according to the mandate that has been given to us as sons of God through Jesus Christ.”

Buchan’s example to young men is dependent on God’s grace, on God’s love: “… because I am a sinner saved by grace,” he says.

“On the day I gave my life to Christ on 18th February 1979, I entered into an agreement with the Lord. I made a covenant with my God that I would start doing things His way.

“I would love Him with all my heart. I would honour my wife. I would respect my children. I would not antagonise my children. I would love my neighbour,” says Angus.

To learn more of Angus’ example and his relationship with his Holy Father he invites you to attend the Karoo MMC and enjoy a time of fellowship together with other children of God.
